Minnesota is blessed with immense natural beauty and dramatic seasonal shifts. The Star Tribune’s “State of Wonders” series, by photographer Brian Peterson and Travel Editor Kerri Westenberg, will showcases the unique range of scenery within its borders. In addition to the stunning Arrowhead in winter, we will bring you to the delicate beauty of bogs and lake country in spring, tallgrass prairies and farmlands during the full glory of summer and the bluff country dazzling with color in autumn.
The series will begin in the Star Tribune travel section on Sunday March 16th, and additional photographs and a stunning video featuring photographs from Brian Peterson and Minnesota recording artist Michael Monroe will be displayed:

DOG SLEDDING!
Quite the ‘spring’ day today on the North Shore! I spent the day at “Points Unknown” in Hovland, MN finding my first dog sled ride! What a great experience…Linda, Neal and Haley gave a great tour of their trails and the dogs were amazingly beautiful! Here are a couple of shots!
